Award-winning Photographer Boo George has released his first photography book; 'Series 1: Havana' set in Havana, Cuba.
The launch party and exhibition for the book took place in Alex Eagle Studio in Soho, London at the beginning of December. We drew inspiration from the Cuban references in the book using palm leaves, rustic wooden textures and contrasting pops of polished copper.
We served two rum-based cocktails using Havana Club- a classic Mojito with Havana Club 3yr Old and a Cuban Ginger made with Havana Club Especial rum, Mela Bottega Apple Liqueur, ginger, lime and mint. Alongside these were shots of cocktail snacks, including salted broad beans and paprika popcorn.

As the nights pull in it’s already got us thinking of parties in the Summer sun.
We were lucky enough to assist on a very decadent private birthday party for a very decadent special lady over in the South of France.
The chateau in the hills near Cannes boasted gorgeous views of rolling countryside, and as the night descended the twinkling lights of faraway towns and the stars above, mirrored those of the hundreds of disco balls that had been strung around the venue and its grounds.
Fresh cut roses adorned the walls on the pathway in to the Chateau creating the ultimate luxe backdrop that smelt as incredible as it looked.
The infinity pool became part of the party with giant silver orbs bobbing along the water and a stage hosting the one and only Mary J Blige.
Guests enjoyed a giant macaroon birthday cake which was quickly demolished along with shots of Patron Café Tequila and plenty of bubbles.

We recently had the pleasure of creating a Diwali themed party for ITV's TOWIE.
It was a brief we absolutely loved because it enabled us to indulge our colourful side with vivid materials, decadent textures and plenty of added sparkle!
From beginning to end, we referred to the original mood board we had designed to capture the decadence of the festival:
Over 600 metres of coloured lightweight chiffon instantly transformed the space; adding rich colour, texture and depth. Paper and glass lanterns were hung from various heights, adding further pops of colour, and the twinkling of candlelight glowed throughout.
Garlands and clusters of beautiful faux flowers (borrowed with thanks from Berrys & Grey) created further texture and theatre. Other touches included jewelled buddhas, gold paper fans, painted coloured vases and over 10,000 faux rose petals scattered over surfaces and floors.
And the finishing touch was the cast themselves in their stunning Diwali costumes.
When you think about classic cocktails, the Bloody Mary is up there with the very best of them; with its colourful history spanning back over 80 years, its undeniable distinctive taste and of course it's the best hangover cure there is.
We officially crown the Bloody Mary the queen of all cocktails.
So in celebration of our favourite drink, we thought we would share with you our Lullaby recipe (mastered and perfected over 10 years!) with two very different serving styles...
25ml (or 50ml for a large) your vodka of choice, we chose Tito's Handmade Vodka
1 tsp Horseradish
A big splash of Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce
A dash of Tabasco Original (as much heat as you can handle)
A dash of Guinness
Squeeze of fresh lemon
Maldon smoked sea salt
Ground black pepper
Our first choice of serve style is OTT extravagance with maximum garnishes; including tall celery sticks, bunches of parsley sprigs and sliced tomato all finished with a stripy straw for an all-together fun and fabulous look.
Our second choice is more understated and elegant; simply layer slices of radish, cucumber and lemon to create a a pretty fan detail on the edge of the glass, add a peppered rim and a single parsley leaf to finish.
We offer Bloody Mary Brunches for all occasions, from large corporate get togethers, birthdays, launch parties and private views to small home gatherings.
It's the perfect way to kick start your celebration; whether you choose to enjoy your drinks on their own or sip them alongside a decadent brunch feast using the finest local ingredients.

Princess Olympia of Greece celebrated her 21st birthday in true decadent style earlier this Summer in the Cotswolds.
Olympia shared the party with her father, Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, who was celebrating his 50th, and their combined ages lent the party its theme: "5021 Revolution." Guests were told to revolutionise the traditional black tie attire for the party," which led to an eclectic mix of crystal-studded trainers with a ball gowns and ornate spiky headdresses.
The decor inside the venue was a pretty combination of delicate florals, blushing pinks and stacks of macarons and candles, whilst the outside of the building was adorned with cascading balloons and pops of bold colour and pastel hues; totally fit for an elegant Princess.
We are always excited to discover a new premium gin, and this really is a good find.
The London Dry Gin is born in the beautiful coastal South Devon and it’s sure to put a fair wind in your sails. Packed with zesty grapefruit, lemon and lime flavours and underpinned by spicy coriander and a resinous juniper spice. This carefully selected variety of citrus fruit was actually picked because they were some of the very fruit that cargos carried by the famous Salcombe Fruiters, a key part of the spirit behind the brand.
Perfect served simply on ice with a slice of pink grapefruit.
A definite hit this Summer.
50ml Bombay Sapphire Gin
1tsp Citrus Syrup
Simply add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and pour through a strainer into a cold coupe glass and garnish with a cucumber twist. Voila.
